It's amazing to me that people or promoters don't hire bands with actual veterans to play at veterans functions .If it's a veterans function shouldn't veteran musician be included? When we play at veterans functions we like to bring several veterans up to the stage and have them holler their unit and where they served. Pos weno, Mr. Smiley, thanks for the encouragement and support! It's always cool to have that comraderie with fellow musicos! I always enjoy meeting new musicians, and jammin' with them! If you and your family are ever in Austin, feel free to touch base with me, y we can have a good cup of accordion, bajo sexto, bass, tamboras, and I'll even make some food for ya'll! But remember, you get what you pay for when it comes to the food ;) (I'm still trying to perfect making homemade tortillas) :) God bless you!
