Emilio Aguilar

I was able to attend the rosary for Emilio Aguilar, I arrived late but in time to see Roberto y Leonel Pulido perform in his honor. I always thought that Leonel style was very similar to Emilio's. I saw Little Joe, Raulito Navaira, composer Ray Torres, Gibby Velasquez, Roger Hernandez from En Caliente, members of David Lee Garza, and others who came to give their condolences to the Aguilar family. ANOTHER CONJUNTO GREAT IS GONE

Emilio Aguilar of Los Aguilares, my condolences go out to his wife and children and Genaro. A Big Loss to the Music Industry

On Sunday, December, the 27th, at 7:30 in the morning, the tejano/conjunto music industry lossed one of the greatest musicians of all time. Emilio Aguilar passed away at the age of 70 in his home in San Antonio, Tx.

New songs added Dec 22 2009

Just before members of my group Nieuwe Helden came to Texas in May 2009 we recorded some tejano and latin songs in our home studio. Recently drum tracks were added to finish the project. The CD ¡Manos Arriba! is dedicated to Texas and will be available at CDbaby.com.
